If I can assist in raising consciousness, (even slightly) through my Video Blogs, then they will have served their purpose.

Following on from my last Blog, which focused on saying thank you to your body for giving you a good night’s sleep was effectively demonstrating an appreciation and the possible positive outcome you will achieve by giving thanks to your body. Did you try it? If so, have you seen any effects from doing this simple exercise? Do you feel better and what about your body….see any changes there?

To go a step further….how many of you practise gratitude and appreciation on a regular basis? Gratitude and appreciation is a very high vibration ….it is up there with LOVE!

Whilst you are saying thank you to your body for a good night’s sleep when you wake up first thing in the morning, you can turn your focus to what you are grateful for and give thanks for that. You may even come up with a list in your head….that is great – just say ‘thank you’ to each thing on your list. Remember to add the challenges that you have experienced, especially if you have learned a lesson(s) from this challenge. The opportunity to say ‘thank you’ for this experience/challenge and for the lesson that it has ‘taught’ you is extremely beneficial. This will add to the high vibration you are starting to create.

It doesn't take long and you can be performing your gratitude and appreciation ‘mantra’ whilst you are brushing your teeth. It is important you feel it and are present with it as opposed to robotically saying it – developing this high vibration doesn't involve a ‘mindless’ or even a ‘mind full’ state, but more of a MINDFUL STATE.

You may find that you start to feel a tingle of light exuding from you because to be grateful and appreciative for what you have helps to change and move your frequency (remember the experiment that Dr. Emoto did?…see first Blog) from where you were to where you are now and what you are becoming.

It is important to practice on a regular basis to see any results. It is equally important to not be attached to the outcome. Try it for 30 days at least – this will surely set you up and might even encourage you to bring this practise into your daily life without giving it a second thought.
Sometimes just by doing this simple exercise helps us to see what we really have to be grateful and appreciate of. As many of us may start each day with thoughts of the past, the future and what we are lacking. To really focus on being In Gratitude shifts us from these habitual states of mind.

A great way to start the day and even a better way to leave the house as you radiate gratefulness and appreciation! The light from this state of being will only attract further blessings to be grateful for. I will leave you with one of the five Reiki Principles that Dr. Mikao Usui taught:

“Just for today be grateful”
